Five steps to moving in
Arrange a viewing
Head to the contact page with your phone number, email, the property you’re interested in and your preferred viewing time.
Check the criteria
Full reference criteria are provided before viewings — clear credit history and permanent employment are required (self-employed: 6+ months history; retired: proof of pension income).
Hold the property
A holding deposit of one week’s rent secures the property — it forms part of your damage deposit, not an extra fee.
References & paperwork
Application forms back within 48 hours with the holding deposit cleared. Every adult (18+) is referenced with valid ID.
Deposit & move in
Damage deposit of five weeks’ rent protected with MyDeposits, balance plus first month’s rent in cleared funds — then the keys are yours.
The numbers
Fees include VATDeposits are held by Portfolios as stakeholder in cleared funds. Contracts have no break clauses and early termination incurs fees — we’d rather you knew that on day one.
